Three more days dedicated to immigration and some success!
| At the beginning of the month we got a weird slightly cryptic email from the immigration office with some issue on one of our documents. Not knowing what it was, we went down to the office to check and see and also find out about the status of the rest that had not come yet. It turned out that the email was about something completely different than we thought but we did need to have three kids’ documents redone since something on their end went wrong. On my document, they said it was good in the system and that I just had to wait. We took the kids back the next day to get the issues fixed but were surprised to find that the immigration office was closed in honor of “immigrants day”. The trip was not for nothing as Stacie was able to get one of the kids taken care of at another office with another document that needed to be finished as well. One thing great is that around the middle of the month my DNI card came! This is big news as this is my permanent residency card! It means that I can go and come into the country with that card. Now both Stacie and I have these cards that don’t expire for fifteen years! We are still waiting for all four kid’s cards to come in the mail as well! |
Great visit from our pastor!
We really enjoyed having brother Shawn come down and spend a week with us! We had so much fun showing some of the places that we go and some of the ministries that we are working on here in Cordoba. I want to send a special thank you to our sending church for making this possible! You all are such a blessing to us!
Possible opportunity to buy the location where we are meeting!
I would ask you all to pray for wisdom and direction as we just discovered that the entire building where we are renting is up for sale. We are only renting a small portion of the property. If this becomes a reality for us, it would give us not only where we already are but two apartments on two floors, the bakery next door to us and more importantly all of the space behind us which would be large enough to construct a very large sanctuary! We are in the process of communication with the realtor to see the rest of the property and discuss possibilities. The entire building is currently listed for $330,000. Please pray for the Lord to be the one to open or close the doors before us!
