13 states and almost as many churches visited!

During the last month we had driven through thirteen states between Arkansas to Alabama to Kentucky to Florida and ending up in West Virginia. The driving has been heavy but the fellowship has been good! Even with as many appointments as we have had scheduled, our pace has been manageable.
Checking things off the list

There were several things that we desired to get finished while we are here and through the Lord’s grace we have not only been able to check off several of those things but also many things that we did not even think possible to do while here or people that we did not know that we would be able to see. Commit your schedule to the Lord and He can manage it so much better than anyone else.

An opportunity to visit family

One of those blessings was to be able to see my Father in Florida and to see my cousin who also lives in Florida. My cousin has had a liver transplant this year and has been on our prayer list in Argentina. It was great to be able to catch up after so long. In our travels, we dedicated a week to spend with my father while visiting churches in Florida.
Three great mission conferences

During this furlough, we booked our many appointments around the mission conferences and associational meetings. Since we knew which areas of the country we would be in and when, we filled in the gaps. Last month we had three great mission conferences in Arkansas, Alabama, and West Virginia. It is such a blessing to us to see that so many churches are not only reaching the lost that are near by but also those that are far away. I absolutely love the mission maps that are hanging on the walls at several churches that keep the work always in view.
